Summary

Tony is a seasoned change and project manager/coach in a wide variety of sectors: Furniture, Financial services, Public organisations, Pharma, Retail etc…. For over 25 years now, he has been involved in business projects and operational management in different roles.

Tony worked in different constellations, ranging from complete internal project teams to complex structures with outsourced and off-shored teams, vendors and stakeholders.
The implementations, rollouts, upgrades and M&A Tony managed involved severe changes in business and operational processes including the roll out of new organisations for structures and management.

Tony is also a proficient sustain and problem manager for Business applications. He understands the challenges of the different operations and the context of business users with their specific issues. Through the years he demonstrated that in organisations like Tvilum Skanbirk/Fovling a/s. European Patent Office, Ricoh, ING International, Fortis and many more.

As a managing partner of different organisations Tony Loze leads change projects for EFNAs, Mindscrossing associates and clients. Tony is also a seasoned trainer and coach in (crisis) management, communication and sales.

Clients often request him to de-fuse difficult situations and act as a “flying” project and collaboration coach to realize the business case and protect project investments. Tony successfully brought back on track several troubled projects and (business) process changes.

Tony roles are the last years more consulting roles in different positions as this is due to his long corporate experience in Management positions. He is open for all kind of temporary positions or in the continuity of his career as HR Director, CEO or COO. He has a vast experience in Africa and the Eastern countries (Romania, Poland,…) Tony has a long experience as expatriate and travelled Europe and Africa. He is free to travel and/or settle in other countries.

- Mission: Business performance optimization:
- The objectives of the Business Performance Optimization Program are to:
Provide insight into adequacy and completeness/consistency of Business and ICT vision and strategy and your current process-based cost-model (model and measure the “cost and performance of doing business”);
- Identify, qualify and quantify the Cost of Poor Performance (CoPP®) based on your strategic drivers, competitive environment and chosen strategy;
- Define and elaborate business-case based improvements to (significantly) reduce or eliminate Cost of Poor Performance within the three dimensions: Processes-Tools-People;

- Results: Worked as IT recruiter from January 2012 till November 2012 to go on after as a part time recruiter for different customers in IT, Retail and management positions. Advisory role for international companies in different HR questions.

December 2010 to august 2011
- Head of PMO and Executive Coach, (Freelance): ING Eastern Europe
- Mission: Guide the ING SSC in its closure, bring all the now-how, tools needed to close down an international Shared Service Centre. From operational wind-down to collective dismissal and outplacement activities of all the employees. Acting as president of the board in all the steps of the wind-down. Preparing the crisis management plan together with ING International (The Netherlands)
- Results: As only external partner the wind-down and closure was (all considered) a success. No effect on shares of ING, agreement with the Unions, outplacement of nearly all staff, operations back to all countries. During the dismissal period trainer of all staff during several month in different topics (as deal of the outplacement program)?
- Tools: Lean Six Sigma, own PMO material, own L&D material)
- Context: After the financial crash, ING put the insurance in the “vitrine” The share Service Centre had to close down all activities. The ING SCC was servicing Eastern Europe and some Western EU countries. All operations had to return to the countries. Because of the emotional side of the closing TL acted as go-between for the SCC and ING the Netherlands.



November 2007 – February 2008 and March 2009 to August 2009
- Head of PMO, (Freelance): Ricoh
- Mission: Support the PMO during the merger between Ricoh and Nachuatec, Infotec
- Results: For the merger between Ricoh and Nachuatec in an advisory role preparing the management of Ricoh for the takeover of Nachuatec. In the context of the merger between Ricoh and Infotec managing the PMO as an external coach. Setup of the PMO office, tools and coaching of PM. Strong focus on the HR integration project, collective dismissal and negotiation with the Unions. New structure design and overall supervision of the PMO activities
- Context: First part dedicated to the management principles of M&A. Due to other activities the Merge was managed by Nolan-Norton (The Netherlands) In a second phase all over coach in the Ricoh/Infotec merger. The mergers are today successful and Ricoh is with over 45% market leader in Belgium in its business area.

January 2008 - to Februari 2009
- European HR VP a.i.: Makhteshim Agan (MA Industries, Israel)
- Mission: Implementation of the HR processes over 16 countries. Day to day HR business. Pay-roll, C&B, L&D, Performance management, culture audit, re-locations, classifications, etc... Harmonization of processes, Responsible for the merger between MA Industries en Kolland Italia. All aspects as program manager and setup of the PMO
- Results: Project in place and take over by MA Industries Israel HR VP. End of mission due to move to Switzerland of the coordination centre. MA came in to Chinese hands in 2011.
- Tools: Own material and HQ performance management tools. For Comp-ben and expat administration support by Deloitte.
- Context: MA Industries is the world largest Non-Patented Crop Science producer. MA expanded and was confronted with many takeovers and mergers in the past years. HR activities where spread over the whole of Europe with local management and no harmonized or even existing procedures.

2001 – 2009
- Principal Consultant DG4: European Patent office (EPO), part time
Mission: setting up the whole recruitment procedure for the Office. Training of all the recruiters, audit of the procedure.
Introduction to assessment methodologies, coaching of top-executives. Teambuilding and advisory role in recruitment processes. Negotiations with the unions and acceptance of the processes and content.
- Result: EPO has today as Public Organisation the most efficient and professional recruitment department and processes in Europe. It is today a reference for many other public organisations in the world.

2002 – 2006

Mission: responsible for business development, trainers and content of trainings. Roll-out of multitude of trainings for many companies

Results: Branches: Aartselaar and Bucharest. Tony sold his shares in 2010 due to a difference in long term vision with the 3 other partners. The whole company was sold in 2012 by the remaining partners.

1995 - 2002
- COO: Tvilum Skanbirk – Fovling A/S
Mission & Responsibilities: Director for the Central and Eastern region. Setup of the whole commercial structure. Agents, sales representatives and importers. Supervision of the activities in France, Belgium, the Netherlands Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, South Africa, Congo and French Outre-mer. Responsible for the whole HR organization and business development activities (active in the field)
Merger and acquisition consultant with the acquisitions in Poland, supervision, and operational organization. Logistics, Procurement, negotiations with suppliers, Marketing on EU level of products, fairs, etc…
- Results: Very “hands-on “position dealing with all kind off issues, sales logistics, HR and so much more. Successful expansion of the organization through Europe and takeover of different production units in the East.
