Duties:
- Supporting a project team in restructuring an accounting department (Planning & Control and preparation of the set up of a Financial Shared Service Centre).

Position: Business Controller/Manager Financial Shared Service Centre.

Duties and special activities:
- Total financial administration, administrative organisation and internal control .
- Administrative conversion and integration of eight B.V.’s from Exact to SAP.
- Development and set up of a management accounting system to get managerial grip on the organisation. This includes consolidated management-reporting (operations analysis), financial- and government-reporting (statutory accounts), budgeting, planning, cashflow forecasts and investment analyses.
- Restructured the initially poor functioning European Shared Service Centre (SSC) to customer-related service instrument (13 employees). Main points:
* People-management.
* Decrease of working capital (i.e.: credit and collection + stretching).
* Increasing solidity of the financial information.
* Building up a European cash pool system
* 80% shortening of month-end closing process to 2 days.
* Development automatized central purchasing.
* Service supply not only to the top but to all departments.
- Co-ordination and optimizing external audits.
- Assistance in preparing the sale of the company.
