11/2004 – today - Active as principal consultant through Qolor IT Management, providing interim management services on IT to various organizations:
o Acted as program manager for BVOM in the purchasing department, obtaining traffic law enforcement equipment, systems and services through European tender procedures (2004/2005). Changed the existing status from monopolist and factory delivery into one of continous competition, turn key and full service contracts with performance bonuses.
o Acted as program manager for KPN IP & Media, Innovation & Client, product development IPTV (MINE) in managing the cycle from idea/concept to funded projects (2006). Requiring close cooperation of Business Lines, Sales, Marketing, and both internal and external suppliers.

4/2003 – today – bv focuses on delivering Professional Services, Interim Management, Programme- and Project Management, Change Management, Business Development and Education & Training. bv is also liaised with Capgemini Interim Management and ATOS KPMG Interim Management.
o Interim Management services for MarketXS bv; to professionalize the Operations department ran a project/program on Business Continuity, with three projects [a] to define and set-up a second co-location, [b] define and put in place a security policy (ISO 17799) and [c] the necessary Operations processes (ITIL).
o Business development partnership with Clocked Services Online bv (CSO), providing services in commericializing a patent owned by CSO in area of smart cards. Initiating services in areas of business development and project management.
o Education &Training activities:
§ Guest teacher at Delft University, college “High Tech Start-ups”, on the subject of “Project and Programme Management”, November 2003.
§ Instructor at the TBN Trainer Course on “Leadership and Communication”, January 2004.
§ Guest teacher at TSM Business School, master class “Experience Innovation”, March 2004.

* Director Services Operations EMEA, Director IP/Wireline Operations International, reporting into the VP Services EMEA (4/2001 – 4/2003). Main responsibilities included:
o Cost cutting exercises and organizational change/integration work with Geneva Technologyo Portfolio assessment & transfer from our US Internet Solution Group business unit into EMEA
o Introducing customer account teams (sales, business unit and support) in the context of the EMEA strategic initiative “Think Big”
o Introducing best practices into EMEA such as the risk & opportunity assessment in bids , introducing the (re-) use of 5-year financial views in bid & proposals
o The introduction of a work management system throughout all operations in EMEA
o The management and monthly report on operations, monthly review on financials (budgets, forecast)

* Manager Programme Management & Business Development, reporting into the VP European Operations (10/1999 – 4/2001). Main responsibilities included:
o Project delivery, operations and support for pan-European clients. Intentionally no budgetary information.
o BU representative in support of acquisition of new international clients in close cooperation with Sales, Development and Marketing.

* Manager of the Bristol Centre of Excellence Project Office, for a GSM product development group (2/1999 – 9/1999). Reporting to the senior director Bristol CoE., responsible for:
o Management support for an organizational change process, moving this independent product development unit into the larger corporate R&D structure and changing their product development activities from one to another product. o Introducing sound processes for project planning and tracking, change and problem management, configuration and release management. Intentionally no budgetary information.

* Manager of the Corporate EMU "euro currency" Project Office (6/1998 – 2001). Reporting to the US vice president Data Centre & Technology. Project budget was 5M USD. Responsible for:
o Managing the introduction of euro capabilities into CBIS' Products & Business Builders. Organized an awareness program, providing communication mechanisms between BU’s, initiating each BU’s assessment and planning process, providing consolidated progress reporting to Corporate level. (CBIS Inc; Cincinnati Bell Information Systems Inc is one of two divisions of the later formed Converys Corporation).

* Programme Manager, VVIS (Vaste Verbindingen Infra Structuur) Project Office (1/1994 – 1/1999). Reporting to the managing director CBIS Netherlands. Started as senior engineer and ended as programme manager. Total project volume to date exceeds 150M USD. The programme ran until June 2003. Responsibilities included:
o Programme management, contracting (with customer, subcontractors and suppliers), business analysis and requirements engineering management, training and support.
o Set up the first operational support group of VVIS in 1994.
* Other line management responsibilities in this period for the Dutch office included: HR management (from 3 to 15 people), ISO9000 quality coordination. Within International Group responsibilities included work in Employee Opinion Survey Focus Group, Solutions Exchange Group, Bid & Proposal Teams.

1990 – 1993 Philips Car Systems International, for product development (CARiN) from test engineer, to teamleader, to project manager. Responsible for software development, special projects support (European DRIVE programs), development and maintenance of software tools, training of engineering groups on professional testing in Germany and France.

1988 – 1989 Philips Projects Centre/International Project Division, for project management of the Hong Kong Route 5 Tunnel project, as test engineer and quality consultant

1986 – 1987 NCR Systems Engineering, Smart Cards project in advanced product development in Security Engineering as systems engineer.
