December 2007 Project / consultancy for Prima Care
On behalf of the CEO/owner of this company, to make a survey for their current and future
parcel courier service. First to make specs, tender process, bidding, and ultimately the
presentation of findings in relation to quality and pricing.

2007 – December 2007 Business Development Manager Benelux Agility Logistics. (A.I.)
Responsible for the commercial development of five logistics sites in the Benelux
Area. The objective is to set up a newly formed logistics sales department. This to bring supply chain management solutions for our customers and prospects. Target is to bring five million euro of additional business and to set up at least three new distribution sites in the next few years.

2006 – 2007 General Manager Logistics Nederland Distributieland.
Responsible for the promotion and sales of the Dutch logistics sector in Asia and (Eastern)-
Europe. Frequently traveling to all major Asian countries to present the importance of The Netherlands as gateway for Europe on seminars and to trade delegations. This role is one of the highest profile sales functions in the logistics sector as HIDC has approximately 500 members in the logistics sector.

July 1999 – December 2005

Yacht management. Senior Interim manager logistics. Projects:

Manager Procurement & Supply Chain Management Snoeks Automotive.
Responsible for the design of the European distribution network for this automotive company.
Including the hands on management of 25 FTE. Annual turn over of approximately € 25 million and the direct management of two distribution centers in Holland and one in the Czech Republic.

Manager Operations Geodis – Vitesse
Operations manager for the logistics and customer service of Geodis Vitesse for a High tech customer: Fender Guitars Europe. Geodis Vitesse has an annual turnover of € 60 million.This interim role was for a period of three months, managing 45 FTE (warehouse, administrative and commercial), restructuring and improving the quality of the European operations and customer service.

Account Manager Logistics & Purchasing Yacht Management
Sales of 30 interim managers, active in the procurement and Supply chain management in
the western part of Holland for a period of twelve months. Turn over € 2 million.

Manager logistics Coop Codis Supermarkets.
Temporary management of national distribution activities of a warehouse, trucking and
customer service to approximately 130 supermarkets. Weekly turnover € 1,5 million.
Approximately 100 full time employees. (Period 3 months)

Manager Logistics A&P / C1000 Supermarkets.
Manager of a Distribution center and also responsible of transportation, customer service and operations on a daily basis. For a year I managed this facility. After this year I moved the activities to another facility and closed the distribution center and repositioned all
employees. Weekly turnover approximately € 4,5 million with 100 full time employees.





Manager Logistics Maxis Hypermarkets.
Temporary management of this facility with full operational and commercial
responsibility. This national distribution center had a more self-operating position which made it interesting to manage. The Hypermarkets had a wide range of products of 8500 articles and 70 very motivated employees. At the end of the project, the objective was to
move the activities and employees to another facility which was completed successfully.
Weekly turnover € 4,5 million with 70 full time employees.

Manager Logistics Fetim (wholesaler in wood & timber).
Temporary management for a period of five months. My role was to do run the European
distribution center of 25000 square meters with 200 FTE. This project was conducting during the start up phase of the distribution center and the implementation of a Warehouse Management System.

August 1998- July 1999

Schreiner Airways Cameroon. Deputy station manager.

Responsible for the operations of a small airline base in Cameroon, Africa to service Exxon and ELF in a construction of an oil-pipeline project. We had approximately 15 employees and two helicopters and an airplane. My job was to run the daily operations and contacts with clients and the government. The responsibility extended to the planning of crew, passengers and freight.

August 1997- August 1998

NDX-Intermodal. Deputy manager customer service.

Responsible for the customer service in an intermodal railway company in Europe. Joint venture of the German, Dutch and CSX railways of the USA. Direct responsible for 10 full time employees and the daily operations also on commercial level with several railway lines in Europe.

May 1997- August 1997

Heineken Export. Customer service.

Temporary work to manage the promotional items for the Champions League soccer games and the export of Heineken Beer to Germany.

January 1995- May 1997

Panalpina Expeditors (Dutch Antilles Caribbean). Manager Customer Service and route development.

Responsible for the sales and operations for the lower Dutch Antilles in the Caribbean. The company’s activities covered sea and airfreight but also chartering of airlines and run a consultancy firm to advice companies in offshore activities. Very wide range of activities with a staff of 8 FTE with a warehouse and small trucking operation. Part of my responsibilities was to manage the contact with the clients from the point of sales, operations and also the payments.

Daily operational management of the export of freight on the passenger flights and full freighters of Martinair to various destinations in the world. Preparation of customs documentation, load plans for airplanes etc.
