Introductory letter

Greetings,

I am currently the Executive Vice President Business Development with a digital communications company focused on providing private and public companies marketing, planning, investment, interim management and business development services. I am interested in highly leveraged interim management or full time position in the role of VP Business Development or COO with options/equity with a well financed company.

I have had 16 years plus experience and an excellent track record with a number of companies at the Branch, Regional and VP Sales levels (and recently as the President of an Internet start-up) with responsibilities primarily focused on business development, sales, Internet, marketing, investment relations, call center, e-commerce and customer service operations.

At a glance, I have 20 plus years of experience in mostly technology oriented companies including IBM, Data General, ComputerLand, GE Capital and others. From '93-'97 I ran a multi-partner operational consulting business, excelled and enjoyed that experience and my clients. Specifically, I enjoy and excel at many aspects of business development including strategic and tactical planning, executive level client development, recruiting, marketing, product marketing and dealer/channel development.

As an executive, I tend to take a planned and hands-on approach to growing a business. A key strength I have developed over the last 20 years is the vision and ability to analyze the company, people, competition, market and business environment and then successfully create and implement business plans and lead the business development function to achieve excellent results independent of market conditions. Please note the consistently high revenue growth figures with multiple companies in my resume.

I have developed an excellent network of consulting professionals, sales professionals, operational management and board level executives that would be available to my company/project when needed.

I am Canadian, based in Toronto but can (and have) worked in the US (using a Treaty NAFTA Visa) and will move to the US for the right opportunity.

In summary, I am a family man with a record of integrity who is a dynamic energetic leader, a strategic, planned thinker, excellent at tactical implementation and a team builder. I am results oriented, problem solving entrepreneurial executive who truly enjoys working in the business development side of a business and has experience in creating and managing operations in multiple industries.

Very truly yours,
