EXPERIENCES:

October 1971 – August 1996:

Entrepreneur retail chain (3 shops). Trading central heating, bathrooms and tanning systems. Company sold after 24 years and 10 months so i never have to say i did the same job for 25 years.

September 1996 – October 1999:

Marketing/communication adviser. Company assistance on regular but interim basis. Assignment business school to train young marketers. Office taken over by employee.

October 1999 – March 2002:

Participation (50%) in company of former client to organize en activate the marketing department. Creative production company of Fiberglas theming elements and decorations for family parks. Besides the creative tailor-made theming we also produced standard productions like rocks, sculptures, ornaments. This part became so ‘booming’ that production in the Netherlands was almost impossible (costs, issuing of rules). Sold the Dutch part to start a new business in Asia.

April 2002 – January 2005:

Starting production line in the Philippines and offered products to own import company in the Netherlands. Alliance with existing manufacturer
(500 employees) in the Philippines were i also started, on project basement, the international export department. At that time we took part in all kind of international tradeshows in Asia and Europe. Also the assistance of projects in Hong Kong, Belgium, Singapore, Dubai and the Philippines. Since i had to move to Asia (which i didn’t want at that time) i sold my stocks and shares to a Belgian companion who could effective take over the marketing part.

January 2005 – November 2007:

Partnership with my brother (also an experienced entrepreneur) V.O.F. to assist companies as interim manager.
