2000 – 2002: Manage €12M consolidation of the European network operation centres (NOCs) within Germany, Switzerland, Poland and the Netherlands into one site utilising and enhancing the existing Dutch NOC and IP Data Centre.
·Worked closely with executive and business customers to win their co-operation and participation.
·Wrote business case with capital budgeting, requisitions, dependency matrix, impact/benefit and cash flow analysis for:
oRelocating the staff and infrastructure of the Dutch NOC to larger and more suitable premises;
oImplementation of OSS/BSS for IP, Voice and Data (including Netcool, HP OpenView, BMC Patrol, InfoVista & Netrac);
oIntegration with existing IT systems including SAP, Geneva and Remedy;
·Planned and relocated the existing Dutch NOC to larger and more suitable premises including staff and infrastructure – IP network, servers, element managers (Voice & IP), NMC, PBX, etc.
·Planned, facilitated and managed transition of all operational support systems and functions from existing European NOCs into the new Dutch NOC.
·Set-up project office (PRINCE2) to monitor and communicate project status including budgets, resources, stage boundaries, risk/issue logs and contingency plans.

1999 – 2000: Problems between the ERP vendor (ORACLE), the Warehouse Management System (WMS) vendor and the company, had resulted in the ERP implementation project stalling at a critical stage.
·Identified quick wins and produced a resolution strategy consistent with business needs, budget, technical infrastructure and industry best practice.
·Wrote a detailed plan including budgets (£1.5M), time scales and resource requirements needed to complete implementation.
·Implemented change management and other ITIL service management into existing IT department.

1999: Manage the EMEA Y2K business systems test (BST) in conjunction with the Global Y2K programme that was being managed out of the USA.
·Worked closely with executive and business customers to win their co-operation and participation.
·Developed and implemented EMEA BST strategy in co-operation with all areas of the business.
·Tracked progress of the project to ensure timelines and milestones were met.
·Communicated status of project to both global Y2K programme management in the USA and local EMEA executive level management.
·Co-ordinated test teams of 50 staff with test rooms in Amsterdam, Paris, Scotland and the USA.

1998 – 1999: Employed by OSI Consultants to develop strategies for the Global treasury market and credit risk system (RXM). These included improvements to data quality and a plan for subsequent data migration from the legacy database to Sybase.
·Defined strategies and business case (€3M) for migration of legacy RXM data to new Sybase and Business Objects on UNIX platform.
·Team leader responsible for acquiring the resources needed for the project and presenting the project plans to management.
·Documented the RXM & Sybase physical/logical data models and created development documents for programmers.
·Created the business process definition to help analysts’ speed up the data cleanse and developers’ speed up the coding process.

1998: Part of the $10M Global Millennium Programme for AT&T Unisource covering 15 EMEA subsidiaries and 144 World Partners.
·Served as liaison between internal and external customers and third-party vendors to manage the remediation process under tight deadlines.
·Researched and documented the equipment and activity on customer accounts in the database via web interface forms, Lotus Amethist and Access.
·Provided direct input to developers relating to enhancements of database input/extraction forms that significantly improved the quality and ease of researching, updating, tracking and reporting.
·Hosted and communicated current status of all IT & network remediation projects to the appropriate technology steering groups on a regular basis.
