Ik ben een ervaren sales en operations manager met een achtergrond in internationaal business management en allround ervaring in detail- en groothandel van brandstoffen, opgedaan bij een supermajor. Ik combineer sterke analytische vaardigheden en creativiteit met de bereidheid om risico's te nemen om ambitieuze plannen en strategieën succesvol te ontwikkelen en te implementeren. Ik ben een inclusieve, ondersteunende, motiverende en pragmatische leider met een track record in het ontwikkelen van goed presterende teams en in het verhogen van de omzet en operational excellence binnen internationale organisaties. Ik ben een resultaatgerichte projectmanager bedreven in het initiëren en managen van verandering. LOOPBAAN HOOGTEPUNTEN

• Co-ontwikkelde en implementeerde de nieuwe wereldwijde verkoopstrategie van 's werelds grootste oliemaatschappij voor het dealer segment.
• Initieerde en implementeerde category management- en kapitaalinvesteringsprogramma's die leidden tot 30% toename van de shop omzet van 120 Esso tankstations in de Benelux en tot 13 M€ inkoopvoordelen.
• Ontwikkelde de functionele blauwdruk voor de implementatie van het nieuwe ERP-systeem voor West-Europa's grootste onafhankelijke downstream oliemaatschappij.
• Gaf leiding aan de snelle integratie van de verkoopactiviteiten na de fusie van twee regionale oliemaatschappijen en coördineerde de sluiting van een regionaal filiaal waardoor een besparing van 8 FTE’s gerealiseerd werd.
• Centraliseerde de brandstof voorraadbeheer operaties van 1000+ Europese tankstations in een nieuw shared service center.
• Definieerde en implementeerde de prijsstrategie van Esso's nieuwe onbemande tankstation formule in België, die een vol procent stijging van het marktaandeel opleverde.
• Tweemaal onderscheidden met een Europese IMAD award (I Made a Difference) in de categorieën 'Waardering voor diversiteit en bevordering van een productieve werkomgeving' en 'Energie om de business te verbeteren'.

SALES PROJECT MANAGER, Argos Energies, Rotterdam (NL), Aug 12 – To date
A senior project manager role reporting to board members, project budget 1M€. Responsible to optimize and automate sales related business processes by implementing a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Nav). Number of project team members: 9.

SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER, North Sea Group, Dordrecht (NL) Mar 11 – Jul 12
Responsibilities included the management of the back office, sales support and business analysis functions for the Benelux Sales organization. Number of direct reports: 10.
Selected achievements:
• Developed and launched the Benelux Sales Stewardship roadmap and professionalized the sales budgeting and reporting processes. Coordinated and delivered the 2012 budget cycle and post-merger strategy update.
• Launched, scoped and secured budgets for the sales ERP system implementation project.
• Led the integration of the Benelux sales operations of Argos Oil and North Sea Group.
• Led the change management activities related to the outsourcing of secondary transportation services to a 3rd party vendor.
• Managed staff rotation related to the North Sea Group office relocation to Rotterdam.

Responsibilities included rent setting and budgeting practices, manpower budgeting and optimization practices, dealer contract negotiation frameworks, capital and marketing assistance budgets. Number of direct reports: 10. Marketing assistance budget: 50M$
Selected achievements
• Led and motivated a virtual team of 10 business analysts (home) based in 7 different countries.
• Co-developed and implemented a new global sales strategy for the dealer business segment, enabling earnings improvements through the reduction of capital expenditures and marketing assistance budgets, and the maintenance of volumes in Europe and Africa.
• Implemented 8M$ worth of manpower related structural improvements, by defining European manpower budgets, providing 1000+ site specific manpower plans and providing onsite manpower management tools and advice.
• Increased rent revenues by 20% through the definition of European and African rent budgets and by supporting local sales teams’ rent setting and negotiations activities.

CONVENIENCE RETAIL MANAGER BENELUX, ExxonMobil, Breda (NL) Jun 06 – May 09
Reporting to the European Convenience Retail Manager (functional organization). Responsible for the shop operations of 120 company operated petrol stations. Number of direct reports: 8. Shop Turnover: 250M$

Selected achievements
• Initiated and completed Benelux tenders, renegotiated contracts, yielding 10M$ worth of benefits. First to introduce premium Espresso coffee concepts and dual cup sizes in the Benelux petrol market.
• Initiated a shop floor plan and equipment upgrade program leading to 10% shop sales increase: developed business case and secured budgets, developed and implemented project plans.
• Optimized purchasing and pricing practices and introduced disciplined price review mechanisms and processes that led to 4% margin improvement.
• Awarded in the category ‘Valuing diversity and fostering a productive work environment’ for achieving significant performance improvement with the Benelux Convenience Retail team.
