Ik ben werkzaam in de ICT-wereld als projectleider/consultant/informatie analist/interim manager in de logistieke/ financiële omgeving.
Karakteristieke eigenschap: Man with a mission.
In staat om op basis van een duidelijk omschreven opdracht, een project zodanig in te richten en uit te voeren, dat dit doel ook daadwerkelijk bereikt wordt. Met name voor gevoelige veranderingsprocessen ben ik een ideale partner.

Vanaf 1999 ben ik als zelfstandige werkzaam en heb in deze periode een brede ervaring opgedaan op het gebied van logistieke/financiële automatisering en EDI. Deze brede ervaring zit zowel in mijn opleiding verweven als in de uitgevoerde projecten.

WORK EXPERIENCE

2007 - present : DAF TRUCKS (Eindhoven).
Information analyst
Several projects:
- Adjust MM-system to support Mizushumashi-procedures in the assembly environment (implemented august 2008);
- Implement system to support the logistic flow of cabines to an external paint location (completed april 2008);
- Improve complete Material Management system to support increased production (switch from daily based systems to minute based systems);
- Implement new system to monitor the production environment within DAF (implemented March 2007);
- Advise/support how to implement “in sequence messaging” with the DELJIT-message to external suppliers (completed October 2007).

2007 – present : De Rooy Logistics (Transport).
Consultant
Currently working as a consultant for a large transport company. Goal is to implement a TMS/WMS-package and integrate this software with a mobile solution and an internet environment. I implemented an integrated WMS/TMS solution based on EDI, in order to act as a LSP for large customers.

2005 - 2006 : Consultant/Projectmanager (England)
For almost a year, I tested and implemented a complete WMS-system (Exceed) including tailor-made software with RF-functionality. Activities: prepare testplan, systemtest, prepare keyusers, train keyusers/endusers, prepare implementation plan. Define/test tailor made software, implement new system etc.

2003 – 2005 : Logistic/Financial environment
Consultant, Project manager
As a consultant/project manager I did several small projects, most of them in a logistic/financial environment. Types of activities:
- Design of new logistic (sub)systems
- Testing and implement these (sub)systems
- Implement package software (TMS-application)
- Etc.

2002 – 2003 : Project manager/Information
analyst (Eindhoven)
As a project manager I was responsible for the development and implementation of an RF layer. I introduced RF-equipment and barcode scanning in order to do the complete inbound- and outbound process paperless. Some highlights of the project:
- +/- 20 project members
- +/- 100 end users
- 3000 receipts per week
- 70.000 pick lines per week
- Introduced ‘paperless’ picking based on RF
- Manual data entry replaced by RF-scanning of
barcodes and EDI

1999 – 2003 : Several companies
Project manager, Inf. analyst
I developed an EDI-application that can be used by smaller companies to exchange EDI-messages in a supply chain solution against acceptable prices. In order to achieve this I used new technologies like SOAP, XML, XSL, etc. Software platform: Windows, Access, Visual Basic, Delphi.

2000 – 2003 : Paccar (DAF Trucks, Eindhoven)
Information Analyst
I worked as an Information Analyst at DAF Trucks (automotive) to redesign the complete supply chain. We extended the current (push) system with new pull functionality in order to support different types of JIT and JIS concepts with direct delivery to the assembly plant. Complete EDI supported process with standard messages like: DELFOR, DELJIT, INVOIC and DESADV). Software platform: Mainframe, Cobol, IDMS.

1998 - 1999 : DAF Trucks, Eindhoven & Leyland

Project manager / Inf.analyst
I was responsible for developing new material supply systems to support the material flows from suppliers to Leyland, England. These systems were needed because the assembly process of specific DAF vehicle types were transferred from Eindhoven to Leyland.

As a project manager I was responsible for the implementation of a complete new TMS client server application (Progress/Unix) in several depots in Germany, France and Belgium. During this project I gained a lot of experience in developing and implementing client server applications with modern GUI interfaces.

As an information analyst I designed and implemented several systems in an EDI/logistics environment.

Project manager
During this period I worked for K2* Groep, an Oracle based software house with approximately 160 employees and a wide range of (standard) software packages for financial and logistic purposes.
As a project manager I was responsible for all kinds of projects in medium to large companies. The size of these projects were in the range from
€ 150.000,- (6 users) up to € 2.000.000,- (150 users). These projects included hardware, software, education, reorganisation and implementation of complete (ERP) systems.
I was specialised in the implementation of logistic solutions and worked for many companies in the Rotterdam region who are specialised in shipping, liner agencies, transportation and logistics. Some companies I worked for: Burger & Zoon, Voigt, Cornelder, Slavenburg & Huyser, Conva, CMA etc.
I learned that every company is different and that it is important to tune your project plan to the specific organisation in order to achieve your goals. Some well known companies: KNMI, Roteb, Burger, Ballast etc.
During this period I experienced I had essential capacities like dealing with conflicts, improvisation, communicate with people of all kinds of disciplines etc.


Opleiding interimmanager

Mijn opleiding is heel bewust op drie pijlers gebaseerd: een commercieel economische opleiding (HEAO-CE), een automatiseringsopleiding (AMBI) en een logistieke opleiding (APICS/MRP). Daarnaast heb ik nog een breed scala aan losse trainingen gevolgd om mijn kennis verder uit te breiden.

Vanaf 1984 heb ik bij een groot aantal bedrijven gedetacheerd gezeten en heb ik een brede ervaring opgedaan in zowel binnen- als buitenland. Met name bij DAF TRUCKS, Philips en Frans Maas heb ik meerdere projecten uitgevoerd. Een greep uit de belangrijkste werkzaamheden;

* Als projectleider implementeren van een client/server applicatie in Duitsland en Frankrijk;
* Als informatie analist ontwerpen, testen en implementeren van logistieke systemen;
* Als informatie analist ontwerpen/implementeren van de Edifactberichten DELFOR/DELJIT/DESADV/INVOIC;
*Als projectleider uitvoeren van projecten die qua ordergrootte uiteenlopen van € 200.000 (10 gebruikers) tot € 3.000.000 (150 gebruikers). Deze projecten hadden betrekking op het implementeren van een totaaloplossing waarbij sprake was van zowel financiële als logistieke systemen.
