-Follow up financial data for Estonia and Italy
- Preparing audit files for auditor for Belgian and Dutch entities
- Digitalization of incoming invoices (ARCO) with a document flow installation and a link to the new financial package (AX)
- Transfer the existing accounting packages (VERO, TWINFIELD, EXACT) to 1 new package AX (Axapta) that will be part of the total ERP

Day to day business

•Started in March 1992 as the finance manager for the implementation of the finance module of a European ERP package (System 21- AS 400 driven). Implementation was ready in November 1992.

•Nov 1992- June 1993 – setting up new reports in System 21 to facilitate the group accounting for rest of Europe.

•June 1993-April 1994 – setting up an extended MIS reporting system for internal use of the Benelux Board of Directors + responsible for the budget preparations Benelux- all this with 1 colleague in Holland. Converting the Belgian order entry, invoicing and logistics modules into the Dutch modules. Analyses of the differences and carry out internal controls (file comparisons and instructions for cleaning the data in the system).

•May 1994 – January 1995 – as assistant financial controller taking an active role in the project “improving the working capital”- we sold all the contracts/machines sitting on the balance sheet to finance companies on a non-recourse basis.
•February 1995- June 1995 – accounting manager- due to the departure of the manager of this department I took over the departments financial accounting and accounts receivable.

•July 1995- October 2008 - as the financial controller left for France in June 1995 I also became responsible for the departments of business administration (order entry, invoicing, logistics, financing) as financial controller.

•November 2008 – December 2009 – as after 2 mergers (Lanier 2005 en Ricoh 2007) the department became too large I had to choose between Business admin and finance – I chose for finance and became finance director and responsible for financial accounting (6 persons), management accounting (3 persons), facility management & reception (4 persons), accounts receivables (10 persons), Luxemburg Finance and business admin (4 persons)

•Monthly reporting in Hyperion to HQ in London (US GAAP).
•Preparing audit files, statutory accounts, tax returns/estimates,
•tax audit files, VAT declarations, cash pooling, reporting CSSF (Luxemburg)
•Perform analysis of deviations in the actual results versus the budget.

Projects

•1994 – ISO compliance for finance and business admin; active participation in writing processes and procedures in order to get ISO compliant

•1994 – Reorganization of the warehouse – due to the decision of NRG Europe to have no stock sitting in the subs we had to reorganize this whole department for Benelux.

•1998 – Oracle Financials implementation; together with the Dutch colleagues setting up a total new accounting environment for Benelux for the financial accounting department and account receivable department.

•2004 – new reporting pack for monthly figures Hyperion – connect with the Oracle database – uploading and controlling + writing comments on figures.

•2005 – Merger with Lanier Belgium, Merger between NRG Belgium and NRG Services to optimize the losses carried forward. Responsible for integration of people (finance and business admin), contracts, customers, machines…

•2006 – full SOX compliancy for finance and business admin – monthly reporting in SOX box Japan

•2007 – Merger with Ricoh Belgium – see Lanier Merger above

•2007 - Setting up a new legal structure for Luxemburg legal entity compliant to regulations CSSF.

•2008 – ISMS compliancy for the finance and business admin

•2009 – Merger with Infotec Belgium – see Lanier Merger above
