Manufacturer of f.e. sweeping equipment (towed and self propelling), snow and ice fighting equipment (towed, container and self propelling), road maintenance equipment, black water vehicles and special vehicles (f.e. allwheel hydrostatic driven heavy vehicles) for airports and (public)roads.
Problem: all group members execute an independent, and unstructured, export policy, only promoting their own products and brands.
There is a need for increasing the turnover outside West Europe since the top in turnover within West Europe has been reached.
Task: Integration of all export activities of the group members, professionalizing of the marketing and sales efforts as well as the positioning of the corporate brand outside West Europe, development of new PMC’s and opening of new geographical markets.
Execution: Set-up of own M & S organization in Stuttgart, with full integration of all export activities of the producing group members.

Problem: The company is lost making for several years, even after past reorganizations. Competitive products from mainly Asia are 15 to 40 percent cheaper. The presence of the products within the group portfolio is under discussion.
Task: analyse the existence options for the various divisions, develop a vision and strategy and implement them.

Execution: market, company and group analysis, change management. Development of strategy and organization. Resulting in: MBO of Technical BU (including buy-out funding and coaching of new owners), shutdown of the tyre factory (including union negotiations and employee outplacement project), integration of the commercial activities within the M&S department of a Dutch sister company, realization of own production (Joint Venture) in Malaysia (including partner search, relocation of production lines, training of operators). Resulting in gaining a full groups product portfolio, increasing margins due to lower cost prices and, due to the sales of equipment and technology, a positive financial result for the group.

Problem: Product Life Cycle has ended, production and turnover nil. Raw material and products have a low-tech image.
Task: analyse the existence options, develop a vision and strategy and implement them.
Execution: market and company analysis, opportunity management. Development of mission and strategy. Readjustment of organization culture and structure. D3evelopment of new products, PMC’s and geographical markets. Based on the highly specialized production know-how and the (modified) available production equipment.
