Responsible for the overall management of the Express Logistics Centre, consisting of a team of 72 people. The centre is offering storage, distribution and value added services such as assembling, product customisation, repair and return for products of advantage DHL customers.

* Increased revenue from 4.000 Keuro to 10.000 Keuro, by acquiring 4 new major customers and by increasing the business with existing customers.
* Renegotiated contracts with existing customers, which resulted in a 40 % revenue increase due to increased margins and due to standardised service offerings towards our customers.
* Increased overall business productivity by 15 % by implementing standardised working procedures for customer services, technical services, warehouse operations and administration.
* Introduced methodology to manage the sales pipeline in order to give relevant, useful and timely information to other departments for making operating and strategic decisions.
* Assisted customers in the redesign of their logistics model and to integrate it into the DHL standard service offerings.
* Established Service Level Agreements (SLA) with all internal and external service providers.
* Introduced “management by objective” management style, with clear measurable objectives for all direct reports.
* Developed and implemented Balanced Scorecard to measure financial and non-financial performance and to implement corrective actions.
* Implemented ABC in operations in order to identify major cost drivers.
* Implemented automatic data collection application to monitor the overall logistics processes.
