Operations Manager:2008 – 2009

Manager of all operational departments of Distribution Transformer Factory including Production (2 product lines), Logistics, Purchasing, Sourcing, Design, Customer Service (Contract Management & Tendering), and Quality, reporting to General Manager.
-All-time historical record in both Financial and Operational results by end of FY09 (March 2009): EBIT is doubled, turnover is increased by 20%.
-Organisational development in whole Supply Chain of the company which was formerly family-owned and needs deep changes.
-70% reduction on late deliveries by improvement of Supply Chain Planning systems.
-Reduction of Capital Employed by 20%.
-Production output is doubled in one product line and increased by 40% with 10% less people in other one.

Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager – Paris / FRANCE: 2006 – 2008

Manager of Quality & Continuous Improvement activities of Distribution Transformers Product Line with 300 million euros annual turnover and 2000 employees in factories located in 5 countries: France, Poland, Turkey, India, Indonesia, being Master Black-Belt, reporting to the Product Line Vice President.
-Project Management of Strategic Plan with 50 million euros financial savings including all investments, building of new factories, activity transfers, product portfolio optimisation, re-design to cost, industrial process & quality improvements and sourcing: New factory building in Turkey and India, re-layout of existing factories in France and Poland. Implementation of new product line in France, India, Poland and Indonesia. Full Supply Chain Planning systems implementation in France, Turkey, and India. Product re-designs to decrease cost in Poland, France, and Turkey. Penetrate new markets in Baltic and Asia-Pacific countries. Non-quality cost reduction in all factories. Sourcing and Supplier Development activities in all factories.
-Deployment of Quality & Continuous Improvement methods, such as Six-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, by coaching 2 Black-Belts, 25 Green-Belts, and 5 Lean Manufacturing Action Leaders.
-Implementation of dashboard management system by close monitoring of well-defined operational indicators in all factories and actions to improve the results.
-Evaluation of maturity of the factories based on assessment tools such as Supply Chain Audits, Lean Roadmaps and Sustainable Development Roadmaps.

Change Manager – Gebze / TURKEY: 2003 – 2006

Identify needs, propose, lead and follow-up Continuous Improvement action portfolio of Distribution Transformers factory in Turkey with 90 million euros annual turnover and 300 employees, in order to reach objectives in terms of Cost, Quality, and Delivery results, reporting directly to Managing Director.
-Secured Operating Income Savings each year as 2,5% of yearly Sales amount by Six-sigma and Lean actions in production and administrative processes, re-engineering actions to design new processes, Design Improvements and Sourcing actions to reduce Material Cost.
-Training of people to increase knowledge and skills about Quality, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management.
-Implementation of system to collect ideas for improvement from people to ensure their contribution.
-Deployment of ‘Autonomous Teams’ concept in workshops to ensure team working spirit and efficient planning & coordination.
-Coordination of action plans in the factory in order to be in line with Sustainable Development commitments defined by Areva Group.

ALSTOM T&D

Quality Focus & Production Development Manager – Gebze / TURKEY 2001 – 2003

Project Manager of Quality Focus (QF) deployment, reporting functionally to QF Director of ALSTOM T&D corporate in France, and manager of Production Development department reporting directly to Managing Director in Turkey.
-Deployment of QF project in Turkey which was defined by ALSTOM T&D as the official systematic Continuous Improvement methodology.
