Work Experience

1998 – present
Sulzer Elbar, a Swiss Machine company in the metal industry. The company provides after sales services for industrial gas- and steam turbines. In the position of Human Resources Manager I am responsible for the HR policy and operations of the company. After a reorganisation the company has about 300 employees. Most important achievement is the implementation of a modern HR policy which has resulted a low turnover of personnel, good internal grow of employees and a low sickness rate.

1990-1998
Obragas, a distribution company of energy. In the position of Manager Human Resources I was responsible for the HR policy and operations. The main achievement was the realization of a cultural change and the implementation of a modern HR policy. In a benchmark it was established that our company was the most efficient energy distribution company in Western Europe.

1987-1990
Van Dam Golfkarton, A Dutch production company of corrugated cardboard which was at that time part of KNP. In the position of head of personnel affairs I was responsible for HR. Main achievement: the making and implementation of an education plan to ensure the modernisation of production.

1984-1987
Torro, part of a retail company that had 50 large supermarkets. I started there as an assistant personnel officer. In the last year I became a personnel officer for 25 supermarkets with the assignment to close the stores and to let go and re-integrate employees in other parts of the organization.

1982-1984
Stork PMT, as an assistant personnel officer. I was responsible for the HR policy in the production.
