· Reduced pre-press costs by 30 percent through converting to complete Computer-to-Plate

· Doubled output of Financial Times inserting lines through re-engineering.
· Negotiated and purchased 2 Rotoman heatset press lines to quadruple heatset output and increase quality.

A daily newspaper of 11,000 circulation with large Commercial printing interests. Goss Urbanite, 6 units, 2 formers.
· Purchased and managed editorial “front-end” computer system.
· Obtained a 20 percent cost reduction in inserting through purchase of machine inserting equipment and pressroom conveying and stacking equipment that also increased throughput and capacity.
· Improved delivery and circulation with reformed deadlines for daily to enforce on-time performance.
· Marketed and operated $2MM publication printing business which was consistently profitable.
· Witnessed transition from family to chain ownership. Served on committee to expand American Publishing Co. publication printing nationwide.

· Created a Publication Printing business and achieved growth rates of 25% per year on under-utilized Urbanite Press.
