2003-Present Sales Consulting. At present consulting as a sales and brand positioning consultant to a new luxury international airline. Previously advised on the set up and successful implementation of a completely new concept in events broking, venue marketing and consultancy to top end London hospitality venues. I have also for the last ten years worked as sales and property consultant and non-executive director positions in a large range of pub, club, bar and restaurant deals, including the successful expansion UK-wide of Style in The City group.
2001-2003 Manager for a £12 million pound sub-division, handling the design, manufacture and supply of 50% of the UK’s replacement special trackwork. Through re-building my sales and manufacturing team and its entire method of working, I markedly increased sales, range of products and efficiency whilst transforming a damaging delivery to time problem into an area of competitive strength. I headed up what became one of the most profitable sub divisions within an international engineering and construction group. Reporting directly to the MD, I was at the center of a transformation of a traditional manufacturing business into a leading sales, design and supply house of special track systems in the UK to all manner of clients from the UK government through to private contractors. On my leaving, the business was turning over twice what it had on my joining, and with improved cost-effectiveness and margins. Primary development and implementation of a novel IT SCM solution which has been successfully rolled out and won the UK Industry Innovation Award.
2000-2001 Mergers and acquisitions project manager to an international business, implementing the acquisition, transfer and integration of over ten companies and considerable commercial real estate around the world. Property purchase, insurance and leasing was my specific responsibility. Led and coordinated protracted contractual negotiations throughout as well as managing accounting, banking, HR, health and safety and legal staff around the world.
I also headed up internal audit and author of main board report into my company’s involvement in the Hatfield railway crash and oversaw the commercial property, accountability, documentation and management aspects of a very large internal merger.
1999-2000 Head of Department and Personal Staff Officer to senior officer in charge of nine nuclear submarines, including the Trident Strategic Deterrent Force. Wide ranging post, responsible for all aspects of long and short term planning of both submarine operations and personnel resources. Accountable for personnel, logistics welfare and legal issues for 2100 people.

1996-1999 Head of Department and Logistics, Personnel, Legal, Finance, Customs, Catering, Administration and Warfare Officer in intelligence gathering submarine. Responsible for all facets of long and short term provision of logistic and administrative support for a nuclear submarine engaged in active operations. Ensuring all support planned, purchased and available for independent submerged operations of over three months. Responsible for all personnel welfare issues, including tax, pay and various complex accounts worth in excess of £20 million. A demanding job, relying on high intelligence, quick thought, instant risk analysis and total trust from the Commanding Officer. Other more diverse duties included 12 hours a day conducting submerged navigation and holding total responsibility for the nuclear reactor. Highly experienced intelligence and warfare officer.
1994-1996 Personnel officer to senior officer in charge of a flotilla of specialist smaller
warships. Human Resources Officer to over 2500 personnel, on shore and based in over 20 warships. Legal, Secretarial and Logistics advisor. Budget manager. Line Manager to a staff of 15.

1992-2000 Many naval, military, diplomatic and highly specialized intelligence based taskings over much of the world. Defence Industry Sales, Disaster Relief work and high profile diplomatic visits etc.
1994 Royal Box Officer for the D-Day commemorations in Portsmouth in 1994. In charge of the security, safety and media liaison. Royal Box Officer and personal host to the heads of state during the VE day commemorations of 1995. Responsible for seating and security for Heads of State from around the world and the British Royal family.
1995 Spanish interpreter on site during the “Tuna War” of 1995. Required language and diplomatic skills whilst negotiating with armed and hostile Spanish fishermen during the dispute over fishing right in the Bay of Biscay.
