1992 Manager Sales International Major Accounts
- Promotion into a new position within the newly founded ICO ( Independent Channel Organisation ) reporting to Tandem\'s European VP and HQ located in Amsterdam.
- Responsible for Tandem\'s strategic global cooperation with Siemens AG and Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG and their distributors.
- Negotiating VAR and OEM contracts with the partner\'s high level management. Finalized October 1993 with a planned revenue of 20 Mio US$.
- Supervising and managing the sales activities and various joint customer projects of both companies\' global sales regions and marketing divisions.

1990 Region Sales Manager North/East Germany
- Starting Tandem\'s new engagement in the five new Eastern states of Germany plus various business relationships to big Polish banks.
- Hiring appropriate computer science and marketing professionals.
- Running the operation with full P&L responsibility for all business generated in the region.

1981 - 1990: Nixdorf Computer AG, Nixdorf Computer Corporation

1987 Director International Business & Major Accounts NCC, Boston, Mass., USA, subsidiary of NCAG, the Munich/Paderborn Germany based computer firm.
- Reorganizing international U.S. operations as separate business units and profit centers with full P&L responsibility for all international business initiated in the U.S.
- Expanding international business from $5 Mio to $20 Mio with a proportionally much larger share of total company profits.
- Training and coaching the NCC branch offices throughout the entire U.S., approaching large accounts.
- Negotiating skills with high level executives in the U.S.
- Developing marketing strategies for new product lines ( Customer Service Centers for the Finance, Airline and Retail Industry ).

1983 General Manager of the Nixdorf affiliate in Berlin, West-Germany, one of the largest sales and service sites of NCAG
- Responsibility for the entire management of 120 employees in four departments (sales, software, service, controlling and back-office).
- Running the unit as an independent profit center with a reporting line to the Paderborn headquarters.
- Total revenue in 1987: DM 45 Mio, an increase of 100 % in four years.
- Business line of responsibilities: banks, private and social insurances, industrial key accounts, local authorities of Berlin (Senate), retail.
- Integration of the Berlin located Nixdorf development and research company into joint projects (EFT-POS, WAN, CIO, UNIX-Systems) with great impact on West-German and European activities.

1982 Branch Manager of the newly founded Nixdorf large accounts branch in Bielefeld, West-Germany
- Same responsibilities as in Berlin on a smaller scale.

1981 Sales Manager of the Nixdorf branch office Hannover, West-Germany
- Responsibility for the German and European business with
Volkswagen AG, the biggest Nixdorf customer (installed basis DM 500 Mio).

- Main subject of the job: Marketing and consulting support for 15 IBM branches, the sales force and executive sales management of IBM Germany with respect to the system /38 (AS /400).
